Stop asking.
Start giving.

One outbound engine, built and run for you, so you can reach the people who matter.

Where the money actually goes

Every channel you buy is trying to reach one place.

The conference booth. The ad spend. The SEO. The event sponsorship. The content calendar. All of it is expensive machinery whose whole job is to end up as one conversation in one person's inbox.

The short circuit

So go straight there.

Cold email is not one channel among many. It is the destination every other channel is spending months and budget trying to reach. Start at the end.

Which is exactly where most people then get it wrong.

The catch

Except the inbox is already full of asking for stuff, wanting stuff, selling stuff.

Cold email on its own falls flat, and it falls flat for one reason. It arrives asking. Can I have fifteen minutes. Can I show you a demo. Can I get on your calendar. It is one more person wanting something from a person who is wanted by everybody.

What almost everyone sends

"Hi, I'd love to show you what we're building. Do you have 15 minutes this week?"

An ask, from a stranger, with nothing in it for the reader. Delete.

What changes the whole equation

Same channel. Opposite direction. You arrive with something they actually want, and the email stops being a cost to them and starts being a gift.

The inversion

So we go out and give.

And the best thing you can give a person is a spotlight. Attention on their work, their company, their thinking. On the record, where it lives forever.

Cold email is the road. The offer is the reason anyone opens the door.

Why it works at all

A pitch dies in the inbox. An invitation gets walked upstairs.

What happens to a pitch

The person reading the inbox deletes it, because forwarding a sales email to their boss makes them look like they got sold. Nobody forwards a pitch. It ends there.

What happens to an invitation

It tends to get walked upstairs, because bringing the boss a platform, an audience and a flattering ask makes them look useful. Your email becomes their win.

What the engine is actually for

Your cold market, turned warm. On purpose, and on a schedule.

Everyone has a list of people who would be worth knowing and do not know them yet. That list normally just sits there, because the only tool anyone points at it is a pitch. Run an invitation at it instead and the same names start converting, week after week, in an order you choose.

The part nobody prices in

Then they hand it to their own audience.

One recorded conversation is not one asset. It becomes clips, shorts, a written piece, something for the newsletter. And the person you interviewed tends to share it, because it is their story and they want it seen. Their network hears about you from someone they already trust, which is the one introduction you cannot buy.

What this actually is

Marketing and selling stopped being two departments.

Two budgets, two teams, two calendars. Marketing earned the attention, handed it over, and weeks later someone tried to sell into it with none of the context.

The interview is the marketing, because it gets published and shared. The same interview is the qualification, because it is spent asking what they are building and what has not worked. Nobody is being handled: the episode needs those questions anyway.

Most people go out into the world and they're seeking. We go out and we give.

The whole system in one line

How we found out

I did not believe it either.

About a year ago Charles cold emailed me. My first thought was: how did this guy get past my radar? Half an hour later he had me most of the way to believing cold email is the most reliable revenue tool going. More than ads. More than conferences. More than anything else I had tried.

I still said no.

Then

I ran it on one company. Then a second. Then forty friends.

That is how this became a business instead of a favour. Not a theory we sell. A thing we did to ourselves first, then to people whose opinion of us we could not afford to lose.

What we actually do

One engine. Three kinds of people.

Same infrastructure, same motion. Relationship building, marketing and sales happening in a single act, because a conversation does all three at once.

The people who buy

Your customers

On the record with the person you would otherwise be cold-pitching. They usually arrive warm, because they came to talk about their own work, not to be sold.

gtm.ventures
The people who fund

Your raise

The advice is always to work your warm network. You know what a local maximum is. Working only the warm market is exactly where you stay.

raasrocket
The people who open doors

Your partners

The introductions you cannot buy and cannot rush. Interviewing someone is the fastest honest route from stranger to ally, and it leaves an artefact behind.

podpire

On raising

Your warm network is a local maximum.

Everyone tells you to work it. It is finite, and it is the ceiling you already know about. This is how you reach the rest of the curve, on your own terms, owning every relationship you make out there.

What it costs you, in time

Thirty minutes. That is the whole ask.

5Minutes up front. Hello, context, what we are doing, no script.
20Minutes on the record. Their work, their thinking, their story.
5Minutes to close. Thanks, next steps, and the door is now open.

You show up and be curious. We do the rest of it, before and after.

The advantage nobody mentions

You are the one asking. That is the whole advantage.

On a sales call the buyer runs the clock and you are answering. In an interview it inverts. You choose the questions, so you choose what gets talked about, and by the end you know their stage, what is broken, what they have already tried and who else has to say yes. Every answer you would normally have to fight for, given freely, because you asked about them.

what you askwhat you learn
“What are you building, and where are you in it?” Stage, traction, how real it is
“What is the hardest part right now?” The pain, in their words, unprompted
“What have you already tried?” Budget, appetite, what has already failed
“What happens if nothing changes this year?” Urgency, and whether there is any
“Who else is in the room on a decision like that?” The buying process, without asking about it

It is a qualification call that leaves the other person feeling listened to instead of worked. Nobody has to pretend it is not both.

Why it holds together

There is a system around every conversation.

The email is the easy half. What makes the rest work is the same sequence run every single time, with tooling behind it: someone is briefed before they arrive, the conversation is captured, and what came out of it is written down and acted on while it is still warm. You show up for the middle bit.

The part nobody shows you

A hundred little landmines you should never have to learn.

Never your main domain

Alternate sending domains

We would never send cold email from your primary domain. We stand up alternates, so the domain your customers and investors already trust is never the thing at risk.

Ten a day, no more

Mailbox spread

Hundreds of mailboxes, each capped around ten sends a day. Push past that and you are marked as spam. This one rule is why volume without infrastructure always fails.

Eight tools, one dashboard

The stack, operated

Enrichment, verification, warm-up, sequencing and CRM, wired together and reviewed weekly by people who do this all day. You get one dashboard, not eight logins.

Why there is no one-month option

Nothing compounds inside thirty days.

Wk 1-2Domains, mailboxes, warm-up. Deliberately slow, on purpose.
Wk 3Sequences go live under your name. Replies route to your inbox.
Mo 2-3Copy tightens on real data. The list gets sharper every week.

We used to sell months. It was manufacturing churn, so we stopped.

Read this before you buy

Who this is not for.

If your lifetime customer value is under ten or twelve thousand dollars, this is a waste of your money, and we will tell you so on the call. It is not for consumer products and it is not for chasing five thousand dollar cheques.

It is for closing large deals, or raising real capital, or building the kind of relationships that turn into both. If that is not you yet, come back when it is.

We run it on ourselves first

Every episode is public.

363episodes published, every one with a named guest
15 yrsin bitcoin, since 2011
2.5M+users on the exchange Sunny co-founded, India's first
8 yrsbuilding robotics, shipped to MIT and Stanford

Anyone can put a logo wall on a page. What you can check is whether we do the thing we are selling you.

One week on our own calendar

This is what the motion looks like when it is running.

Monday to Friday, last week, seventy-two meetings. Names and companies removed. We are not showing you this because your week will look like this. We are showing you that we run the engine on ourselves before we sell it to anyone.

One real week, anonymised. Shown to illustrate the motion we run on ourselves. It is not a prediction, projection or guarantee of the meetings, pipeline or outcomes any client will have. Gym at six and family time in the evening are on the same calendar and are not shown.

Packages

Pick the scope. Then pick the runway.

Ten times the sending infrastructure. Twice the price, because mailboxes are cheap and the work of running them is not. Same invitation, same standard of copy, far more front. It buys reach, not a different result per conversation.

Not ready for that yet? The 45-day infrastructure sprint is $4,500: one audience, one ideal profile, the same build and the same weekly review on a shorter runway. The smallest honest version of this.

We run a fixed number of engines at once · room for a few more right now

Each audience is run by the team that specialises in it: gtm.ventures for customers · raasrocket.com for your raise · podpire.com for the podcast engine

Three months is not a trial length. Warm-up eats the first two weeks, replies land in week three, and anything worth counting compounds after that. Twelve buys the same engine for the runway the work actually takes.

Not buying today? There is another way in. Bring us a client and earn from the engine instead of paying for it  ·  Running a raise on very little

What happens next

Week one is infrastructure.

Day 1-2Kickoff call. ICP, offer, copy angle, and what goes out under your name.
Week 1Domains registered, mailboxes provisioned, warm-up begins.
Week 3Sequences go live under your name. Replies route straight to your inbox.

You approve the copy before anything goes out. Nothing is ever sent as you without your sign-off.

The part that matters most

You own every relationship.

We build and operate the technology and do the work. Every customer, partner and investor conversation is yours, on your calendar, in your name, forever.

The fine print, on purpose

What we are, and what we are not.

gtm.ventures provides outbound technology and managed services: sending domains, deliverability, mailbox warm-up, list hygiene, enrichment, copy, sequencing and CRM workflow. Our clients own every customer, partner and investor relationship, and take every conversation themselves. We are not a broker-dealer, placement agent, or investment adviser. We do not solicit investors on behalf of any client, and no compensation we receive is tied to capital raised. All fees are flat fees for the technology and the work. Nothing in this presentation is a guarantee or prediction of any outcome.

Built with help from AI. We use AI tools to research, draft, and assemble material like this. A human reviews everything, but if something looks off, tell us and we will fix it fast.
