What we talked about.

In this casual live stream, host Sunny Ray catches up with Bitcoin trader Shubs, Blockspace builder Antoine, and later Troy for a wide ranging chat on crypto markets and AI. Shubs, who entered Bitcoin during Toronto's 2017 ICO boom, breaks down why the crypto fear and greed index has hit multi year lows and explains how RSI and the 200 day moving average point to a relief rally rather than a confirmed bottom. He also shares his philosophy of dollar cost averaging in and dollar cost selling out to avoid being forced to sell at the worst moments. Antoine introduces his concept of Blockspace Value Theory, where tokenized Bitcoin block space gains value tied to transaction fees, and recounts burning through money experimenting with OpenClaw AI agents. The group riffs on OpenClaw powered bots like Ori that run Bitcoin lightning enabled prediction markets on WhatsApp, and marvels at AI agents autonomously spawning child bots and buying API credits with their own crypto wallets. The stream closes with plans for future weekly meetups and an AI course.

Friends riff live on Bitcoin's fear and greed bottom signals and the wild new frontier of AI agents wielding Bitcoin through OpenClaw.

The questions, and the answers.

When did you get into Bitcoin?

I was actually pretty late to the Bitcoin game. I'm more of the techy guy on the team, so I wasn't really investing early on. I think I first got in around 2017, which is when the whole Toronto cycle kicked off with a bunch of startups going live and a lot of ICO coins.

What's the sentiment like right now in terms of the fear and greed index?

The crypto fear and greed index has touched one of the lowest numbers in the past few years, almost at eight, which is close to the most negative reading possible. It's a mix of sentiment and technicals, similar to the CNN fear and greed index which looks at things like how many stocks are above their 200 day moving average.

From your trader lens, does it feel like a bottom or do we have a long way to go?

It's always hard to get the exact bottom in. It's super hard to time the market to the penny, but generally looking at larger technicals you can make some judgments on where it's heading. Right now it looks like we're in a relief rally upward, so any dips now are viable buys in my view.

Do you look at the 200 day moving average?

That's a very important indicator. Bitcoin basically touched it and it's severely oversold on the RSI as well as touching the 200 day moving average on a weekly basis. That's an amazingly good indicator, and for me that's something where I'm willing to put money in.

Can you explain what RSI and the 200 day moving average mean?

RSI is a mechanical computation of how much green versus red candles have happened over the past few cycles, usually computed over 14 days. The 200 day moving average is a running average of prices over a weekly period. Bitcoin almost fractionally kissed that moving average, missing it by a few hundred bucks, which triggered a lot of mechanical buying from longer term investors and helped spark the bounce from 60k to 70k.

Do you think the four year cycle is behind us?

That's so hard to say, but I think it's the mentality, the greed and fear built into human psychology, that matters more than whether it's specifically a four year cycle. Markets always move in cycles, so you'll always see ups and downs. Look at those downs as buying opportunities and ups as chances to sell, you want to sell when you're able to, not when you're forced to.
