What we talked about.

In this episode of the Sunny Ray Show, host Sunny Ray talks with Dimple of Dimple Bindra Global about what happens when betrayal reaches the workplace and why leaders should stabilize before they strategize. Dimple shares how years of teaching yoga and movement at tech companies convinced her that people cannot heal alone. She also describes discovering her husband's infidelity in 2023, the mistakes she made in the shock that followed, and the health problems she links to that period. Those experiences led her to create Betrayal ER, an emergency room concept for the first 72 hours after betrayal, and to write a book on it. She explains the basics of early stabilization, how to tell shock-driven decisions from clear ones, and why she advises leaders to wait about two to three weeks before acting. Dimple also covers her Awakening Experience for corporations, an anonymous workplace support room for employees, her market validation in Hong Kong and Silicon Valley, and her search for growth partners.

Betrayed at work or at home? Dimple explains why your first 72 hours should be about stabilizing, not strategy, lawsuits, or big decisions.

The questions, and the answers.

What did your years of movement and coaching teach you about how people heal?

I taught yoga at tech companies, and I learned that people need other humans to heal. They cannot do it alone. They need different healing modalities, and I don't believe medication is the solution. People need support to come out of whatever trauma, illness, or betrayal they are going through.

Why did the first 72 hours after betrayal deserve its own structured method?

In 2023 I found out my husband of about six years was cheating. I was in shock, destabilized, and I made mistakes that hurt my health. If you have a heart attack, you go to a hospital. There is no hospital for betrayal, so I created Betrayal ER. Those 72 hours can make you or break you.

How did this become a real corporate program?

I spoke with employees who were going to work while a spouse was cheating or living a double life. They still had to smile and deliver, but they could not if nobody was helping them heal emotionally. So I built the Awakening Experience, a 60 minute session of dance, yoga, and deep meditation inside companies.

What belief about healing have you completely reversed?

I used to believe that when someone needs help, you just go help them. Now I know they have to admit to themselves that they need help first. Otherwise they won't do the work. So I no longer intervene in anyone's life. If you want my help, you can contact me and I will support you.

What should a betrayed leader do first?

Stabilize. Do not make decisions, such as filing a lawsuit or complaining to HR. Bring your nervous system into a calm state, relax your mind and breath, and wait until you are not emotional. That usually takes two to three weeks. Then we plan next steps. We plan nothing until you are stabilized.

What does stabilization look like in the first 72 hours?

It is as simple as asking whether you ate today, drank enough water, or went for a walk. Can you stay in the moment instead of overthinking or stalking someone on Instagram? Many people don't eat or sleep, then show up at work. Stabilizing means being in your body and doing the basics.

How can someone tell a decision made from clarity from one made from shock?

Shock decisions are driven by fear. You think about protecting assets, where to live, where to rent, or where the kids will go to school. You keep replaying the past and looking for clues. You are not in the present moment. My job is to bring people back to this moment.

How can a workplace support someone without forcing them to share?

We offer a Betrayal ER for workplaces, which is an anonymous, discreet support room. Anyone can log in and get stabilizing techniques, and HR can simply provide access. We don't even take names or emails, so we never know who is using it. People don't have to share anything, and their privacy stays protected.
