How has your week been with everything going on with the Epstein files in the UK?
It has been crazy here in London. Everyone is losing their mind over the Epstein files, but nobody in America seems to care even though Trump and Bill Gates were both connected to Epstein. Our ambassador to the USA was in touch with Epstein longer than he admitted, and now our prime minister is under pressure to resign even though he was never near Epstein himself. His top aide resigned instead. It feels like we cancel our own people faster here than Americans do.
What has been the highlight of your week?
Me and the kids have been building a treehouse in the garden, and it is really high up, which they love. That is kind of the homeschool vibe now. We do math, language arts and history in the morning, some reading around lunch, and by twelve thirty we are done for the day. My oldest started a chainsaw for the first time this week and was going nuts with excitement.
What is this project you have been working on?
I have been hosting a faith and Bitcoin meetup and I am trying to professionalize it so it does not look like a bunch of crackpot internet money dudes. The idea is to show Christians and church leaders that Bitcoin is the most moral and open monetary system that has ever existed. I am approaching serious people, like an Oxford theology professor who also lectures in Austrian economics, to represent it credibly.
Have you thought about putting your hit song on there for instant credibility?
Yeah, I also wrote a song for it, actually a couple of songs. It is a banger. Maybe I will put it up there, we will see.
Any big Bitcoin news that caught your attention this week?
Not really, just a lot of the usual noise. I think quantum computing is going to be this year's fear narrative, like Bitcoin going to zero used to be. My wife's dad literally asked me if the quantum thing from Star Wars is what is going to crash the price. I told him Bitcoin is the least of his worries if quantum ever becomes real, his bank account would be in far more trouble.
So what has been going on for you personally with Bitcoin lately, less about the market and more your own moves?
Honestly right now it is less about commenting on the market and more about making personal moves. I am enjoying this quieter phase where people are not all frothy and bullish, it feels like the real builders stick around. I like it more than an all time high because you get pure signal from the people who show up.
