What is DaxHive building?
DaxHive is an AI back office for US businesses. I call it a matrix system, a mesh of agent teams and responsive intelligence. AI agents run core departments like marketing, accounting, operations, and HR, with a human in the loop I call Neo, short for next gen entity orchestrator.
How did you come up with this idea?
I've been working on it since 2021 during Covid, when business owners were cutting costs and wanting one person to do everything. I realized businesses want everyone to be a jack of all trades, but now AI can be the master of it. ChatGPT confirmed that direction for me.
Were you always planning to be an entrepreneur?
Honestly, I was forced into entrepreneurship by accident. I worked in real estate operations, and after leaving my job during Covid there weren't many jobs available, so I started solving problems for pay, like building websites, which taught me what entrepreneurship really is.
How do you see AI affecting jobs versus entrepreneurship?
I don't see AI as threatening. If I had AI back in 2021 I would have earned more because it empowers you to do more. Now instead of learning every skill manually, I just build an AI agent or workflow to solve the problem.
What does DaxHive's automation first approach to bookkeeping look like?
I look at people, process, and technology, list out every task and measure how long each takes, then apply automation to make it faster, like using rules to categorize transactions or forms instead of discovery calls. After AI, a five person finance team's work can often be done by one person, up to 60% cost reduction.
What does the Bangalore founder scene look like right now?
Honestly it doesn't look that good. Many people call themselves entrepreneurs but are really just employed by their own business. The lifecycle of companies has shrunk, many launch on outdated AI wrappers and fail within a year, though there is real innovation happening too.
Do you think bookkeeping as a profession will survive?
I don't think it will survive as it is. Most bookkeepers believe AI won't replace them, but I'm a contrarian. AI will handle the data entry, coding transactions, and categorization better than humans, and the bookkeeper role will shift into an advisory role like a CFO.
