In this inaugural conversation, Sunny Ray sits down with his longtime friend Kyle, whom he met around 2015 at the Money Show, to launch a new format focused on free flowing dialogue about current events rather than traditional interviews. The two reflect on how 9/11 first cracked their trust in official narratives, how Bitcoin later became a red pill moment that reshaped their understanding of money and central banking, and how the COVID-19 pandemic has become the latest and most disruptive blip in the matrix. Kyle walks through the mainstream COVID narrative point by point, from lockdowns and masking to PCR testing and rapid vaccine rollout, then contrasts it with Event 201, the 2019 pandemic simulation run by Johns Hopkins, the World Economic Forum and the Gates Foundation. They discuss censorship, digital identity, ICU capacity, and Trump's early clashes with China. Framed as two friends speaking their truth rather than offering medical or financial advice, the episode sets the tone for an ongoing series exploring tyranny, technology and the fight for individual freedom.
Two old friends launch a raw new series linking 9/11, Bitcoin and COVID into one long fight for freedom.
When did we first meet, and how has our relationship evolved?
I think we met at the Money Show back in 2015, so about six years ago. Over time, especially recently, I have realized just how insanely aligned Sunny and I are on a lot of things, which is part of why we wanted to start talking together like this instead of just doing formal interviews.
If someone only trusted the news and government officials, what is the official COVID narrative they would believe?
The official story is that a hyper deadly coronavirus emerged from China, spread through variants, and forced a global pandemic declaration. We were told to fear each other, socially distance, get tested with PCR swabs, accept contact tracing through our phones, wear masks, and eventually trust a vaccine developed in record time as the ultimate solution.
What is Event 201 and why does it matter?
Event 201 was a pandemic simulation held in October 2019 by Johns Hopkins, the World Economic Forum and the Gates Foundation. It even used real CNN producers to role play news broadcasts and produced seven recommendations, including flooding the zone with information and censoring so called misinformation, that closely mirror what actually happened once COVID hit.
Why was there no discussion of expanding ICU capacity instead of locking everyone down indefinitely?
I never heard any talk about increasing ICU capacity as an alternative solution. The only real precedent for the global response was watching what China did, locking everyone down completely, and the rest of the world basically just copied that model without questioning other options.
What did you think when Trump first ran for president?
I remember seeing him come down the escalator and telling my parents he was going to be the future president, which caused some family members to stop talking to me. What struck me most was that he was the first politician in my lifetime willing to openly call out China, which felt like a real blip in the matrix.
How does Bitcoin fit into this bigger picture for you?
Bitcoin was a huge red or orange pill moment that gave me real hope for disrupting the central banking system. At the same time, I see it as sitting on a knife's edge, since the same technology behind digital identity and custodial wallets could just as easily be used to enslave us if we lose control of self custody.
