the podcast guest who thinks differently
some people have opinions. some people have frameworks. the difference is fundamental.
i can tell in the first five minutes if someone's just reciting an opinion or if they've actually thought.
the difference: opinions are what they believe. frameworks are how they believe.
when someone comes on and says "i think Bitcoin will go up because institutions," that's an opinion. when someone says "institutions move capital when three conditions are met: (1) regulatory clarity, (2) ease of custody, (3) return expectations"—that's a framework. then they can explain why January 2026 hit all three, and now institutions are buying.
same conclusion. different depth.
i have more people on who have frameworks than opinions. because frameworks survive when the opinion is wrong. the person with a framework can say "that thing i predicted didn't happen, but here's why, and here's what changes."
that's the person you can learn from. that's the person you want to work with.
